Af'noon folks. Rain only just reaching me. Busy day, grandkids & a Halloween party with #GunnersKidscic. It's a charity started & run by my daughter following the death of her husband. It helps kids make memories & share time with a family member whose death is imminent.
It was a good day.

Reform have suggested housing Asylum Seekers in the Falkland Islands.

There are only 3,470 people on the Falklands, and we have to subsidise them £300,000,000 on top of what an ordinary citizen in the UK costs.

Housing them in the Falklands would be more expensive than Rwanda.

Forgotten the names of the roses, they've been there quite a time. No.1 son bought them for us when he was a teenager I think. I'm fed up with replacing the arbor every year, so this one will be industrial strength.

After years of flimsy store bought arbor, bamboo and Hazel branches, I've decided to construct a strong arbor that should last me out. I'm using concrete reinforcement mesh along with 2x2 tanalised supports.
Should work . . . 🤔
