The world according to a half-charred and hollowed out survivor of the Tokyo firebombings that is actually the most compelling site at Sensoji but no one pays any notice because it has been relegated to the smoking area seeing as humans are inherent dicks. Pretty though.

Clouds erase the top of the Tokyo Skytree this morning and a large crane on the Sumida river conspires with a camera angle to make it all look like time is moving backwards and a tower is being unbuilt. A seagull flies by to check out what’s up.

We can’t escape the Fall
POV: you are underneath a very large and colorful Japanese maple tree and there is absolutely no way out so you may as well enjoy being fallen. Yellows and oranges mostly. Meandering branches try to take you with them but there is nowhere to go. Starburst sun shines through at the bottom right. Make of that what you will.

Looking upward towards old shrine beside newer buildings and a tower, but all the buildings are babies to the ginkgo tree who’s turned the ground into a sea of yellow leaves. Until the shrine keepers come to sweep them up. Like they do every single day without fail. How silly of them.
