One lesson from the Epstein–Mandelson affair is that we need to stop routinely rehabilitating political careers after serious scandals.
When politicians knowingly engage in grave ethical wrongdoing, that should permanently end their political careers. Being "talented" should not override that.

@teamlabouruk.bsky.social for heavens sake get some hard hitting responses and retaliations out. This is not normal. We can’t appease Trump. He needs to see strength. And for goodness sake fix the broken partnerships with the EU - we need each other. And enough with more US involvement in the UK.

Trump just announced 10% tariffs on Denmark, Britain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, Norway, and Sweden starting February 1st.
