I do really fear for our old filler tho. It's running way worse now than it used to even just 2 years ago when I was learning how to run it. It won't run forever. We've pulled a few minor miracles out of our ass in the past to keep it running, but even ass miracles are limited.

And we're running production overtime to try to satisfy contracts we made before our facility flooded earlier this year, so all of our equipment is under additional strain too. Gonna get worse before it gets better.

At least we FINALLY hired some people. Training still takes months, but baby steps.

People on the floor bring up issues but things tend to get ignored by higher ups until it has a big enough impact on production. Our maintenance staff is overworked already.
galaxyanalogy.bsky.social
We have flooring pieces that constantly need fixing in the same spots, the gaskets on both autoclave doors are constantly degrading way faster than we replace them, the clamps on our formulation tanks are dethreading themselves one by one, and the list genuinely goes on and on.

But like seriously. One main piece of equipment isn't working right and we suspect it's causing defects on our vials. Another main piece of equipment (THE main piece of equipment, our outdated filling machine) currently sounds like an old car about to fall apart and is running like shit.

My reaction after receiving the same message a couple min earlier was: "when ISN'T that a problem?" so maintenance is not alone in their feelings 😭

I work at a pharma manufacturing company and I just heard one of our maintenance ppl say, after receiving a message about yet another thing being broken: "yknow. I dont think this whole making drugs thing is working out for us" 😂

Oh odd! Wonder why it worked differently for me? Different browser maybe? In any case, we shouldn't have to be doing gymnastics just to see listing pics clearly

How do I explain to offline people that my favorite Japanese mascot said "we can only be liberated from queer oppression if we are truly seen as human" and then started wielding fireworks like a rocket launcher on the side of a mountain without sounding like I've totally lost it?

Chiitan has a dream.
I hope that one day the term LGBT will become a thing of the past.
I will continue to spread my message until we live in a world where everyone can love freely and is free from persecution and discrimination.
Until then, let's all support each other🤍

however, when looking at an individual listing, any zoom greater than 125% kinda cuts off the top of the pop up. it's a very small amount, but worth noting

i got curious and decided to try it

to me, 125% and 175% zoom worked best for being able to see the pictures a little better, tho at 175% the filters do get hidden unless you scroll to the top and find the button

pictures show zoom at 100% (default), 125%, and 175% respectively on my laptop

i'm doing this for me but if anyone else wants to do it too please go for it! can even quote or reply to my post if you want, maybe create a small bubble of positivity on the timeline? just throwing out ideas

when i was doing this "a positive thing (approx.) each day" posting a couple months ago it helped a little to show/remind me that not *everything* is awful and that each day could still bring something good to the table, and i think i need that back in my life

OKAY mental health has been an uphill battle lately (wow wonder why that could be /s) so i'm bringing something back

posting at least one positive thing (almost) every day, even just something small

a positive thing for today: got a really good gas price! $2.78/gal when usually it's closer to $3

Not just in the UK, but internationally. Other governments and lobbying parties have repeatedly cited her over the years while introducing transphobic/intersexist legislation and rolling back human rights protections.

It cannot be made clearer.

If you continue to support the Harry Potter franchise in any way, you are directly funding the removal of trans people's human rights in the UK.

How does it look if you increase the zoom on the page? Some sites have formatting that doesn't play well with zooming in or out, but it works well on most sites in my experience (on desktop browser at least, I haven't fussed with page zoom on mobile really at all)

Ugh I need to cut my nails 😩 i hate doing it because I get so picky about it and take forever, but technically for work I'm not supposed to let them grow past my fingertips (bacteria and dirt gets trapped under long nails easily) and they're well past that stage already
