We totally agree with @theaef.bsky.social assessment below. The govt isn't even pretending to take its climate commitments seriously in respect of aviation. They're no better than the last govt. Didn't someone say something about change during the election campaign?
Expanding Gatwick will be a disaster for communities. @theCCCuk advised that UK passenger numbers should not increase more than 2% by 2035. This expansion will contribute to a 14% rise in UK passenger numbers. Read AEF’s full statement below.
