One of the things my grandma would eat consistently after she determined that she had gluten intolerance was popcorn. It has plenty of nutrients and it's filling. Plus it's just tasty!!
My mom and stepdad traditionally eat popcorn and ice cream for lunch on Sundays 😁

That was the opinion we landed on before we learned about food aversion. And then we were somewhat embarrassed that we'd clung to such an old way of thinking to let a kid go hungry just because they don't want what's in front of them.

To anyone reading this. Coming from someone who initially thought my child was just being picky, but would not eat when they "got hungry", food aversion is very real and I'm so lucky we figured it out before they developed ARFID.

Listen to your children, even if they're too young to talk.

This is what parents who don't vaccinate don't even think about. Their choice doesn't just affect them, but everyone that is around them, and not just at a close level. My deepest sympathies to the family for their incredible loss.
