Great idea! Would like to see publishers do this too.
We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

I’ve never played ActRaiser before. Maybe that’s not such a big deal. There are thousands of games I will never play. But this is one that trusted friends and peers have recommended for years as on…

I recently wrote about one Super Famicom-exclusive game that I'm now quite fond of: rock 'n' rolling brawler-racer Zoku: The Legend of Bishin.
Racing ‘n’ Rumbling: Bishin Dentsetsu Zoku (Zoku: The Legend of Bishin)
Racing, brawling, and tournament fighting all in one game? Surely a recipe for disaster… or is it?

Sad to report I didn’t play any of these this evening and played Shiren The Wanderer 2 on N64 instead because my daughter likes the little squirrel in it.

Sorry indie devs!
I somehow bought THREE brand new indie game releases yesterday. Very excited to play all of these so sharing them here for visibility...

Absolute psychic damage for me seeing Xbox 360 on the cover of Retro Gamer. I was reviewing new games for the former when I was first writing for the latter.
Retro Gamer 279 celebrates 20 years of the Xbox 360! The magazine also includes a 2026 Mario calendar.

Also inside: Stormbringer, Pipe Mania, Mega Man X, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2, Brian Shea, Terminator games and much more.

Grab it in shops or buy it online: www.magazinesdirect.com/uk/retro-gam...

I am on this one. For better or worse.
Coming tomorrow! The 16-bit games draft. 36 picks across Mega Drive, SNES, Neo Geo and the Amiga. Kills and steals return!

Someone picked Turtles in Time, then Dave Scarborough shared this cursed anecdote:

That’s Simon The Sorcerer Origins finished. If you’re a fan of the first then you’ll find this a very worthy sequel. The best since 2. It’s a reassuring traditional adventure with a good script, good puzzles and a great performance from Chris Barrie. Smallthing did a great job. Bring on the remake!

This is such nonsense. Roger Moore or Lazenby would have just laughed this off.

“Wouldn’t have happened to the other guy” etc…
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."
