I do NOT do Black Friday, but I did have to go get horse food after work, and even the feed store was a madhouse. I resisted the 6-foot metal chicken, the amaryllis bulbs, and the fancy barn coats, but I couldn't pass up the bargain on dog beds.

When I was putting the horses in the barn tonight after work, a bat got trapped inside the barn. I opened the door, turned the inside lights off, left the outside lights on, and sure enough, it quickly found the door and flew away. 🦇

How is this different than a gunman shooting two soldiers in DC? Murder is murder. No one in this administration has any right to complain about violence when they are slaughtering innocent civilians with impunity.

I have to ask this question. If this guy was so upset that he wanted to shoot some National Guardsmen why did he drive all the way from Washington state to D.C. to do it? There are lots of National Guardsmen closer to where he was. Question everything!

Based on the Thanksgiving posts of my friends, it seems this year is the lowest and unhappiest ever.
In spite of the considerable bad stuff, I am glad for decent jobs and that my sprogling was finally able to access the gender affirming healthcare they have been waiting two years for. ❤️
