You have to! It’s a good plan to leave your valuables at home. I usually try to walk around with just my keys, phone and a bank card when I’m in the city. I would leave the phone too if I wasn’t helpless without it. 😆

Scary story Susan! I’m so glad things didn’t go worse. I’ve had a few “welcome to the big city” moments in my time in and around NYC as well. Nothing quite like that though.
