My brother, 10 years older than me, was a huge Rod Stewart fan when I was a kid, so I asked him if he’d be watching his Glastonbury set this weekend. Turns out he still hasn’t forgiven him for leaving The Faces. I like a proper rock grudge. Respect.

Love these two. They brighten up a confusing world. ❤️
As for Tebay, fish ‘n’ chips overlooking the duck pond is the one.

The most remarkable thing I ever witnessed at Glastonbury was, and always will be, Malcolm Hardee's scrotum. Unforgettable.

Loved The Ballad of Wallis Island. Full of charm & humour. A much needed distraction from the world. Can’t recall the last time I watched a film twice at the cinema…this might just be one of those times. Bravo, Tom Basden & Tim Key. Carey Mulligan is great too!

Another one of my faves.
I mean, how about this for a string of singles?

Dance to the Music, Life, Everyday People, Stand!, Hot Fun in the Summertime, Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) / Everybody is a Star, I Want to Take You Higher, Family Affair, Runnin' Away

Each. And. Every. Track.

Taken that same afternoon in the old Radio 1 studios. Bowie himself had a keen sense of humour. I hope he enjoyed his visits to Manchester as much as we enjoyed having him here. Nuff respec to @markradcliffe.bsky.social @marcrileydj.bsky.social!

In discussing ABBA with a pal, I noted I wasn’t all that keen, to which he reminded me that during my one and only meeting with the Thin White Duke, I seemingly lost power of thought, resulting in me quoting an ABBA lyric at him. Thankfully, he chortled. Which, in turn, reminded me of this image…
