Going to see Radiohead later on so of course last night I dreamt that I'd got there but didn't have my ticket, and then when I did find my ticket it was for Taylor Swift. Good to know that I can have anxiety dreams about other people's gigs as well as my own.

This is v good news. I adore this album. AND the Geese album. It's been such a Cameron Winter year! ❤️
glad that the Cameron Winter album is being counted in the end of 2025 lists what with having been released too late for the Best of 2024 lists

Had fab time at Mac Demarco gig at the Apollo last night. I was literally the only old person in the room, everyone else in their 20s including Blake who is really the target audience. I love the new album though and it was fun being among The Young, watching Mac goofing about doing handstands etc ❤️

Same. I was a million miles from New York City, but I bought a suit jacket to try and look like Annie Hall, and I never stopped loving Diane Keaton. Properly sad she's gone ❤️
Oh man, I loved Diane Keaton— Annie Hall had such a huge influence on me as a teen, everything about her style & her energy, the clothes she wore & the way she talked! She just felt like such a model of New York City intellectual life, jittery & adventurous & original

Learning to play a piece called Show-Type Tune by Bill Evans, which is exactly what it sounds like - a kind of *show tune* which is really beautiful but then suddenly a bit *out there* because of course this is Bill Evans. I mean either that or I'm just getting the notes wrong.

Our residency of gigs at the MOTH Club might look tiny - and yeah, the gigs ARE tiny - but to me it feels like a huge achievement. I’m proud of myself and also hugely grateful to the people who helped me get here. So peace and love to everyone. Life is surprising. Change is possible. On we go ❤️ 2/2

In the last two days I have watched both The Sting and All The President's Men, out of RESPECT. They left me with two key thoughts. 1) I am a complete child of the 70s. 2)My god they don't make film stars like that any more.
