I did that End of Year search that showed you what your most used word here was, and mine was "haha", which I suppose means I am pre-emptively adding THIS IS A JOKE onto most of my posts 🙄

I think I found the idea of when it was meant to be set a bit puzzling. If the current part of the film is *now* then the 16 or so years ago bit at the start is 2010. But they all seem like classic 60s or 70s radicals. As you say, Weather Underground. I suppose that's down to the Pynchon bit.

My sister heard, and texted me, so I’ve now rewatched and she DOES say it, but I’m not sure if she meant in the sense of, if you’re secretly a traitor. But I agree it must be suspicious.

If it IS the record mentioned by a couple of people in replies, then I will just add that I had a friend text me a few days ago saying, HAVE I LOST MY MIND WHY DOES EVERYONE LIKE THIS RECORD. I replied, well I don't like it so it's either us or them. To be confirmed.

I had an encounter in the street this year with someone who was outrageously hostile and rude to me, and I was polite for a minute, then gathered myself and said, "Oh fuck off" and walked away. Never been more proud of myself.
