I've been writing about birthright citizenship for 20 years. This thread strings together my opinion pieces (not law review tomes, which I will post separately). I wrote a book about the Fourteenth Amendment and I debated John Eastman 20 years ago about his vile plan to end birthright citizenship./1

Is there an AI application that can construct for me some reason why I or anybody else should care about the deep and complex inner life undoubtedly lived by that seer Mika Brzezinski? www.msnbc.com/top-stories/...

No one disputes violence in June. The issue is whether Trump could decide that events in June are an "emergency" requiring deployment of the Guard in September. It's like claiming that the 1942 Japanese bombing of Oregon also justify invading Portland in 2025.

In all fairness to the Trump administration, what is the actual POINT of taking power if you can't demand that babies give back food they have already eaten? I mean, why bother doing all the other stuff if wimps are just going to come along and make you feed the hungry?

See, this is true and correct and there's at least a 30% chance that the DHS Twitter account will release a mocking video about him specifically.

These people live for cruelty and the pain it causes, and we have to destroy them.

I saw someone on my timeline shaming someone else for posting about college football in a time like this.

Folks, if we're going to survive a time like this, we're going to need to avoid burning out from an attitude of 24/7 vigilance and constant outrage.

Let people find joy where they can, please.
