"Ethical AI" does not exist. There is no reality where you can have generative AI that's "ethically trained". There are ZERO AI models trained ethically, and there will never be any.

The term has been made up by people who want a pass on using AI. You don't get that pass, slop peddlers.

Important reminder of the existence of goth Christopher Lloyd

Lo lanzaron un viernes en medio de una campaña de prensa totalmente tramposa titulando que se prohíbe la IAG en la cultura para distraernos a todos cuando en realidad es todo lo contrario:

Artículo 13. Uso de la inteligencia artificial generativa en el contrato artístico para generar contenidos. 1. En el marco de la relación laboral especial regulada en esta norma y en ejecución del objeto del contrato de trabajo, se pueden utilizar sistemas de inteligencia artificial generativa para la generación de contenidos con relación a la imagen, la voz o los resultados de la actividad contratada a la persona artista siempre que el uso de dichos contenidos se limite al objeto de dicho contrato y esté circunscrito a la obra o, en su caso, a las obras para las que este se realizó, incluyendo su explotación y promoción. En consecuencia, queda excluida expresamente la utilización de la inteligencia artificial generativa para generar réplicas digitales o nuevos contenidos reconocibles fuera del objeto del contrato y de la obra u obras para la que este se realizó salvo acuerdo expreso y remunerado entre las partes, en los términos previstos en el apartado 3.

🚨 El Ministerio de Trabajo de España abre, entre gallos y medianoche, la opción de «participación pública» para presentar aportaciones, hasta el próximo 2 de febrero, al Real Decreto sobre el Estatuto del Artista que PERMITE el uso de IA generativa en los sectores artístico-culturales ⚠️
MINISTERIO DE TRABAJO Y ECONOMÍA SOCIAL Real Decreto XXX/2025, de XX de XXX, por el que se regula la relación laboral especial de las personas artistas que desarrollan su actividad en las artes escénicas, audiovisuales y musicales, así como de las personas que realizan actividades técnicas o auxiliares necesarias para el desarrollo de dicha actividad. La segunda de las novedades relevantes es la incorporación de los artículos 12 y 13, dedicados a los derechos de propiedad intelectual y al tratamiento de la inteligencia artificial generativa. Se trata de una regulación de exclusiva aplicación a aquellas personas que estén incluidas en el ámbito de aplicación del real decreto y que gocen de los derechos previstos en la normativa de propiedad intelectual. A tal fin, se establecen tres reglas básicas completamente novedosas en nuestro ordenamiento: de un lado, el reconocimiento de la posibilidad de utilizar sistemas de inteligencia artificial generativa en el marco de la relación laboral artística siempre que sea en ejecución del objeto del contrato de trabajo y solamente en los términos y con los límites previstos en el propio artículo. Dichos límites, con carácter general, se refieren al ámbito de afectación de los contenidos de tales usos: de un lado, afectan a la imagen o voz o los resultados de la actividad contratada y, de otro, el uso de dichos contenidos ha de limitarse al objeto del contrato y estar circunscrito a la obra para que este se suscribió.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2003) had over 750 animations for the Prince alone (when accounting for transitions). That was a huge number for the time.

Descansa das pantallas... 31 de Xaneiro as 16:30: Fai a túa chapa 1 de Febreiro as 12:30: Estampa a camisola, con roupa cedida por Amigas da terra Galicia Sara Ballester, modeladora 3D de día, ilustradora de noite, traenos un par de obradoiros, totalmente opcionais, para que desconectemos un pouco o cerebro. Todos os materiais serán providos e recomendamos que para o taller de estampación, traigades roupa que non vos importe manchar. Tamén é posible traer as vosas propias prendas/soportes para estampar (madeira, papel, texidos cun % mínimo de algodón/lino do 80%..:) Non é necesario estar inscrito na jam para participar!

AI cannot ameliorate inequality because it cannot generate net positive value for its users, on average, over time. You're not helping marginalized people get a leg up by telling them to deskill themselves and develop dependency on the most unreliable and shitty way to get information.
