Baldur's Gate 3 fancomic. Aldiirn offers a potion bottle to Astarion, saying, "We have a surplus of Elixirs of Vigilance, here, you take it!"

"Why, hoping I'll trade it in for something better at the end of the day?" Astarion responds with disdain.

"That would be kind of you!" Aldiirn smiles brightly, sparkling, "But don't worry if you don't find anything. It's a gift!"

Astarion takes the bottle with a sharp smile of his own. "You're too generous, sweetling."

"Not my first pick but it will be useful," Astarion ponders to himself while looking the elixir over, "Just how does he always know what to give?"

Cut to feeding time in Astarion's tent, Astarion's face is in Aldiirn's neck while Aldiirn counts all the junk hoarded around them. "Plenty of arrows, 3 lightning 7 thunder 2 fire... oils, 5 basic 1 wym 6 drow 2 diminuation 1 sharpness -- no, 3 sharpess... elixirs..."
