I was reminded recently of a great concert I saw on my 17th birthday and showed this flyer to some folks the other night celebrating birthdays. December 6, 1968. Hard to believe that show was 57 years ago. I saw these bands multiple times throughout the late 60's and early 70's.

Book Shelf #185. Mickey7 by Edward Ashton, 2022. Finished this in a week and now I should watch the streaming movie Mickey 17. An interesting plot with some strange backstories. I guess the movie is somewhat different and a comedy too. We'll see.

Book Shelf #184. Murder in Pitigliano by Camilla Trinchieri, 2025. Just finished this entertaining 5th book in the Tuscan Mystery series. Features lots of interesting Tuscan wines, food and restaurants... always part of the plot with an ex-NYC murder detective.

Kitchen Listening #41. Odetta. I love the folk and blues music of Odetta. This set was about 4 hours from 4 albums from my collection including a live one. She was an amazing performer and I got to see her several times in the late 60's and early 70's.
