Trump is on tv lying again.

As is usual every year I am short of seeing two films. The Secret Agent and Sentimental Value. All other films I have viewed. Surprised at the inclusion of F1. Wonder how that got pushed in? Disappointed that Song Sung Blue was omitted. It was such a warm pleasant film. Ah well.

To Zelensky I have an advice. Whatever security agreements you sign with Trump don’t expect that he will keep them. He is quite prepared to run away from them at first opportunity.

What I am taking from Trump’s Davos speech is that he would be quite happy to enter into a trade war but he is not yet prepared for a hot war.

Why doesn’t Trump talk about his own and his family’s corruption?
January 21, 2026 at 2:58 PM
Parts of Trump’s speech reminds me of Hitler.

Why isn’t anyone courageous enough in the audience to say to Trump that he is totally wrong. USA got lot of benefits from NATO. This is a first performance of a total lunatic in Davos, but very dangerous lunatic.

Let me tell to Trump that if you’re going to attack and occupy Greenland you will enter US into a new forever war.

TV companies should run simultaneous correction ticker at the bottom of the screen.

I am urging all the European Presidents, PMs and other ministers, diplomats and businessmen to walk out if Trump starts bullying you, which he will. What Trump wants to achieve in Davos is to find enough European traitors who would split EU. This must not happen!

PM Starmer approved Chinese super embassy. May I say this is not a wise decision. Even if you want a trade agreement I would have never agreed to this. It shows that you don’t understand foreign affairs. The other possibility is that you don’t care about future as you will be gone by May.

As Trump is coming to Davos this week EU/UK politicians should prepare themselves for some full frontal abuse. At the same time they should have some tough answers for him. In full public view so that citizens of Europe can see that their representatives are standing up for them.

Moody Greidinger is seeking to buy a Showcase cinema circuit in UK. Didn’t he bankrupt already one cinema circuit. That man doesn’t know how to run a one cinema, let alone a circuit. Maybe, maybe he can be a developer building houses but running cinemas is laughable. No, no.

Did just Trump declared war on the Western Hemisphere? New Yorker quoted him. Please say I am wrong.
I can’t read the article as I am writing a film review.

I am currently listening to LBC James O’ Brian show. It would be a good idea to organise a simultaneous show between American radio station and LBC. Question like why are Americans so stupid by voting for Trump could be discussed more fully.

As Zelensky is about to meet Trump, my opinion of the meeting is that Trump will probably promise you some kind of security guarantees, but if I were you I wouldn’t trust Trump anything he promises. Trump is clinically insane, he is only interested in appropriating your rare materials.

To all who I follow and to all who follow me may you have a Merry Christmas and a peaceful, healthy New Year.

2/2 There's been a kermis in the village and many peasants are variously dancing, drunk & possibly dead. But the landscape is still beautiful! Because it's by Hans Bol.

Flemish Kermis, complete with drunken peasants, dancers, quack doctor, and ballad singers. But no animal torture games! How is that possible, Hans Bol? And happy birthday, while we’re at it.

Just woken up and I hear that Trump is suing BBC for $10billion because broadcaster damaged his reputation due to speech footage broadcast in Panorama. I would have thought that Trump’s reputation has been damaged already that no sane person would want to engage with him on any business.

The lights of Times Square in 1947 (Pepsico sign is prominent) amid drifting snow. Not exactly bustling, but if you look, there are still numerous people on the sidewalks.

Snow day in NYC today. I always grab my chance to post a photo or two from the Great Christmas Blizzard of 1947, when more than 26 inches fell on Central Park. I wonder if it was cozy and warm inside the cinema?

I don’t take Golden Globes seriously. So I don’t pay any attention to what films are nominated.
