I actually forgot that Black Walnut, as a flavor, just sorta disappeared from ice cream shops and such.
Betty Crocker Black Walnut Cake Mix (1958-circa 1965): A boxed cake mix for black walnut-flavored cakes. Black walnuts, noted for their more intense, bittersweet, earthy flavor, became a popular flavor for cake, ice cream, cookies, and candy during this era

Tough home; movies were a safe space. Mom was a theater major in the 80’s & I did my first play (Oedipus) at age 7. Recorded improvised, serialized audio plays that I’d pass around on cassette in elementary school. Acting was just always there; sometimes in the background, sometimes my priority.

Lay's Golden Grounds (2022-2022): Standard Lay's potato chips, but with a football-themed gimmick! Soil was gathered from the fields of 29 NFL stadiums and shipped to Texas, where it was mixed with dirt on potato farms. The chips were then made from these potatoes. Check this 🧵!
