Watched the new Frankenstein with a friend and I had to explain to them why a Lord Byron quote being at the end of the film sent me into a fit of laughter
Me: despite a lot of things I’m a fairly well adjusted adult
Also me: I can’t ask my dad if he kept my mums hair she shaved off for chemo because he definitely didn’t and he would ask too many follow up questions and I don’t think he’d be chill and normal about Victorian mourning jewelry practices
