Fifteen years ago, gun violence tried to silence @gabbygiffords.bsky.social.

Instead, it sparked a movement that is still saving lives today — powered by survivors, strengthened by lawmakers, and made possible by Gabby’s extraordinary leadership.

HORRIFIC: An ICE agent fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis, MN who was observing an operation from her car.

ICE and the Trump admin’s inhumane immigration policies are creating fear and endangering communities. We must reject gun violence in all forms.

Today marks 5 years since Donald Trump incited a violent attack on the US Capitol, where more than 100 police officers were injured. We later learned that many of the insurrectionists were armed.

@governorwalz.mn.gov has always worked to keep Minnesotans safe from gun violence.

He’s taken on the gun lobby and won — expanding background checks and passing extreme risk protection orders that Minnesotans demanded.

We’re grateful for his leadership.
Minnesota has to come first - always.

Today, I’m proud of the work we’ve done to make Minnesota the best place to live and raise kids.

I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work.

We can’t allow gun violence to continue plaguing American communities.

In 2026, our leaders MUST pass the commonsense gun safety laws that are proven to prevent violent crime and save lives.

This year, we’ve seen some big wins in the fight to end gun violence.

The Trump administration keeps trying to dismantle our progress and advance the gun lobby’s dangerous agenda, but states across the nation are fighting back.

Gun violence still kills more kids and teens than anything else in America.

That’s not acceptable and it’s not inevitable. We have the power to make 2026 different—to make it a year where our leaders prioritize our safety. Text COURAGE to 34131 to join us as we fight for change in the year ahead.

The holiday season should be one of joy, but America’s gun violence crisis has made it a painful reminder of loss for far too many families.

We’re sending love to everyone missing a loved one stolen from them and to every person whose holiday looks different this year.

Gun violence in America is a policy choice.

Year after year, our experts find that states with better gun laws have lower gun death rates. Yet tens of thousands of Americans continue to die every year, because some states refuse to take action. It’s long past time they put safety first.

The gun industry sells fear, especially to women.

Its manipulative marketing tactics only serve gun CEO profits and their dangerous agenda. This makes us all less safe.
The Gun Industry’s “Empowerment” Marketing and Stand Your Ground Laws Fail Women
While much attention has focused on toxic masculinity in gun culture, a new and equally manipulative narrative has emerged targeting women.

For Brown University students Mia Tretta and Zoe Weissman, last week’s mass shooting wasn’t their first.

At 15, Mia was shot at Saugus High School, and at 12, Zoe lived through the shooting in Parkland. If this isn’t a wake up call, we don’t know what is.

We’re proud to endorse Tim Walz for reelection!

Throughout his career, Gov Walz has worked to keep Minnesotans safe from gun violence, working across the aisle to expand background checks & advance lifesaving public safety measures.

He is exactly the leader Minnesotans deserve for four more years.
