It feels weird skipping a Pokemon title for the first time, but I dropped S/V shortly after it came out and have not found ZA appealing at all. The games should have doubled down on their JRPG roots, and GF should be investing more into their dev technologies, instead of trying to make BotW.

I hate Nintendo's digital games management system. It's extremely cumbersome to use. The worst part is, if you opt-out of it, you still have to link Switch consoles to hand over the license to the other Switch.

The TGS DQVIIR livestream just happened and it caused concerns within the community lol

I'm kinda sad that they're removing 3 islands, and the immigrant town, but excited to see whatever new scenarios they've added.

Also using DQXI's turn based battle system is good.

Dragon Quest Creator Yuji Horii hinted that more remakes are in the works and why Dragon Quest VII is being remade before IV/V/VI.

In Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, you can attack enemies on the world map to initiate combat; weaker monsters can be instantly defeated. During battle, enemy vulnerability will display when selecting abilities. Battle speed & auto-battle can be toggled, too.

Still thinking about that Dragon Quest VII remake (because of course I am). I think the reason why I always liked VII is that it's very melancholic. Most characters get either bittersweet or sad endings. I hope this new version keeps that vibe.
