Most people don’t care if civil servants get laid off. Fair or not, it highlights how they have enjoyed protections the rest of us have never had. Most of us have been laid off at some point in our careers and survived. It’s a fact of life. Dems should focus on loss of services, a more universal TP

Im angry, dont get me wrong. But all this lines up neatly with the rise of a handful of people controlling and profiting off the flow of information. I have to remind myself, if Im turning on human beings with no more individual control than I have, then Im on the wrong path.

Yeah, I’ve had that experience for sure. Do you think it’s weird how we as individuals are holding ourselves and one another accountable where the institution itself has failed, and continues to not step up?
