Absolutely incredible turnout for Budapest Pride! So proud of all the organizers, including some old friends, who estimate hundreds of thousands— major embarrassment to Orban
People have the power
it's sad to see that almost 1/5 of so called "liberal progressive" and 26% of labours oppose it...you can't call reform and coservative oppressors and than having the same views when it comes to civil and human rights of a minority...
Given Farage's comments on marriage yesterday, worth saying that levels of support for same-sex marriage among Reform supporters are almost double those who oppose it, and not far off the national average.

This is the only truth. People talk about Mamdani but the average muslim is conservative as an evangelical christian. Mamdani is not the average muslim. I don't undertand why people don't accept reality, corbyn is pandering at muslims votes so his party will not be too much lgbt friendly...
corbyn used to be good and consistent on trans rights but he's been silent because he's trying to found a party largely around Gaza and UK Muslims are pretty transphobic

Water is wet. There are hundreds of thousands of homophobic aggressive people out there. Even in most gay friendly society. Usually men are the most aggressive ones so it's nothing surprising that the group who most hides and don't do PDA are gay men compared to lesbian or bisexuals

No wonder that organized religion is dying day by day. I don't see love just rage and resentment. Even pew research has confirmed that now the number of unaffiliated/atheists are 1/4 of world population growinf from 18% of 2010. They are growing even in socially conservative countries in middle east

I don't understand the outrage. No one is accusing Mamdani of homophobia. Who is doing that is a Maga.But that sometimes left wingers pinkwash islam and Muslims even when their societies are virulently homophobic and diply socially conservative . Abramitics faiths are homophobic, period!
Sorry but progressive and "Muslim" don't make any sense. The majority of countries where there are systemics persecutions of LGBT people are Muslim majorities countries. This is rainbow washing. The same thing that Israel does in attempt to cover it's violation of human rights in Gaza and West Bank

It's not indoctrination. As half italian, European nation are ashamed of their past. Germans as the nation who made the Holocaust and the other nations let their Jewish citizens deported and exterminated by Nazis . So Israel pushes a lot on this sense of shame that European feels towards Jews
It's incredibly delicate to post about Israel to US / CA / EU audiences, the indoctrination to be loyal and overlook its decades of criminal actions runs deep amongst the public. All we can say is, do your best to deprogram from "I stand with Israel" and move toward "I stand with international law."

I want to add also that it's not true that everything in Europe is good and everything in America is bad about LGBT rights. The best answer is it depends Romania is not Spain as New York or California aren't Louisiana or Alabama
