Especially since we don't really have a built in user group (not affiliated with a uni or public system) the access considerations were truly how can we make access as easy and international as possible for as much as we can, which the effort helped toward

Just practical reasons really- other depts/orgs took over digitization projects including on-demand and reference so now we only do occasional microfilm reqs that wouldn't qualify for ingest
I think we would have continued to make folder level scans/photos accessible if we'd continued though!

We used to if there were full folder scans and donor/copyright things checked out for it
This was a small amount of requests that we were processing but sometimes pretty useful!
