I simply took an existing flyer for a different show and made some modifications.

(The other show already happened. No active promo was harmed.)

New Hampshire is a man and Vermont is a woman. They are brother and sister. The rest of the states don’t have gender or families.

I probably shouldn't have stayed up til 1:30 playing Tekken, but it was nice to reconnect with my old pal: robot girl with chainsaw arms that can turn into rockets sometimes and also her head falls off and explodes but it regenerates so it's okay.

And if you read "Portland" and got momentarily excited before realizing it's the northwest one and not the northeast one, I've got some great mid-November flavored news (of course I'm not Mike Huguenor, but I'm a fan of him, which is some kind of similar)

Real weird migraine today.

Non-monogamous relationship frameworks helped me escape a repetitive cycle of harmful codependent relationships, and it's a bummer to watch polyamorous people getting thrown under the bus.

This news cycle has been powerfully exhausting.

It's too early to call it, but shit ain't looking good. Luckily my work place is a very manageable walk from my home, but my prospects of seeing a third location any time soon aren't looking good.

I just finished slogging through to the end of Megazone 23, an anime that started so strong and got so arduous, but at least I got to see guys in robot suits fighting with knives. I need to find another 80s anime filled with blue and green haired women.

I understand and appreciate how the death of the social monoculture is something to find sadness in, but it's weird how few people are acknowledging that a monoculture is also a whole lot of shitty and oppressive things.

Kinda bumming tonight that I never got to tour in a band when I was in my 20s. I don't feel like I'm too old to do it now, but it's hard to imagine it ever being an economic possibility these days. I came of age in an era that already sucked, and it's only gotten worse.

I've had conversations with dozens of lovely people today and the feeling in my brain is that I came across like an awkward weirdo in like a third of them. So if we talked today and my energy seemed broken, that was assuredly a *me* problem.

If you ever watch a bio of Blink 182, it'll invariably include a part about how Tom wanted to push the band in a darker, more emotionally complex direction. Then it will cut to a clip from the dumbest song you've ever heard.

Part 3 is just doing whatever it feels like
Anime update: I'm watching this trilogy of films called Megazone 23, and part 2 seems like it was made by somebody who hated part 1.

the sweet spot with an abstract & bizarre choice is when you don't understand it at all, but it STILL hits you emotionally. i think it's really hard to pull off, but so exciting.
