I *kind of* tend to put in a lot of thought and lore in the crossover fics I write. Me yammering on why the hell there's a bunch of similarities between all of the human and anthro populated planets in my Sonic X/Jak and Daxter crossover being one of my many examples. #sonic #jakanddaxter

I just said that I 'personally' would like to see the animation redone in the first movie because I think it would be interesting. I never said you or anyone else had to think the same. You're acting like I'm going to go pester Pixar to do something that's likely never going to happen anyway.

It would really just depend on the circumstances and who would hypothetically be behind something like this. If it was something Pixar genuinely wanted to do, then I don't see anything wrong with. It would be a different story if Disney was butting in and getting their fingerprints all over it.

If we're gonna go by the whole angle that all works of art should be left alone for all time, then all artists should never go back and redraw their old pictures or comics, or redo their fan fics they wrote back in high school. By that logic, I should have never remade my old Felix the Cat cosplay.

Chill. It wouldn't replace the original movie. It would still be there. It would just be interesting to see and compare how far Pixar has come since then. Unless they pulled a George Lucas and refuse to release the original, I really don't see any harm in reanimation their first movie.

Sid's the one who's seemed to have aged the best, though. It's clear the animators put the most work into him in terms of the human characters, and he's meant to be viewed as a monster from a toy's perspective anyway.

I hope someday Pixar makes something of a remastered version of the first Toy Story movie because the human character models in it are starting to show their age, and all of the now obvious copy-pasting of the like 5 human character models they seemed to have in total for it.

The reason generative AI is so popular with wannabe creatives is best illustrated by something every pro writer has encountered: getting pitched an idea by someone saying "You write it and we'll split the profits!" because they think the idea is what has value, not the writing. The opposite is true.

I like to think all of these characters actually prefer to eat cheap crap food, instead of the fancier high end foods and places people would expect them to regularly have. Like they would rather have $1 frozen pizzas and those addicting peanut butter fudge cookies from Dollar Tree.

King Sombra will always be that character in MLP: FiM who is an enigma to me. He's someone who seems to have a lot of history behind him. Yet he has to have the least amount of screentime, lines, and presence compared to the other villains in the show. The fuck this guy's deal?

Every time I watch The Little Mermaid 2 I just hear the other characters the voice actors have played or are well known for. We have:

- Twilight Sparkle
- Mr. Krabs
- Daxter
- And Cam Clarke doing his default voice he uses in countless stuff he's done voice work for.

Okay, Daxter was actually a human originally, so I guess he technically wouldn't count. But no one else besides Jak, Keira, and Samos, ever seemed to be aware of that anyway. But I guess that's something him and Chris have to relate to with each other: Blue eyed gingers who shrank into smol boys.
