so, in a move I heavily struggle to comprehend, Google recently removed from Maps

- the possibility to filter results by "open now"
- the possibility to sort results by distance, instead of "relevance" (aka "trust us bro" sorting)

thus rendering the app 98% useless.

there's also a lot of subtler (?) fallacies involved here, like: if one of your talking points is "trans people are not people, should not have rights" I don't need to know what your policy on bike lanes is, the conversation is over already.
