What a great first day at #GLCDuluth2025!

Mayor Roger Reinert kicked off the meeting by welcoming Commissioners and Observers to Duluth.

Attendees heard from experts on microplastics, #GreatLakes harmful algal blooms, water reuse, as well as from the GLC's official Observers.

The Great Lakes Commission planted two trees yesterday in advance of #GLCDuluth2025. As a founding participant in the #GreatLakes St. Lawrence Trees and Green Events initiatives, the GLC has committed to planting trees and using other sustainable meeting practices to reduce waste.
