I'm new here and still learning to navigate my way, but I wanted to end this evening with my Daphne, a Maine coon cat mix, she is usually pretty sweet but has no qualms letting you know if you've pissed her off...there's a reason she is my mini-me 😄
For #caturday meet our big boy, Mister Sissy. Born feral under our house April 2010. I was able to get him fixed, but he lived outdoors for years. Currently living his best life by taking over our couch.

I didn't expect my week to end with having to say good bye to these two beloveds. I was somewhat prepared for Kassie (at age 13+, she had been having some aging-related issues). But Daphne's sudden illness blindsided us. Rest in peace sweet girls. Feeling heartbroken is an understatement right now.

I love this time of year solely for my various lilies. The giant white ones are on 6 to 7 foot tall stalks and smell so amazing. And the beautiful double (?) orange daylily always puts out a show. More pics coming soon...just want to share a bit of beauty in a shitty timeline.
