When Nileist first arrived with us, he had a tendency to slam his front hooves down on the ground, when he flipped himself down onto his side for fun, *sigh*, He got a stone bruise and had his first hoof wrap... He looks so young there!!!!

Pie has had such a tumultuous and successful year with her gate accident, which ultimately helped her body alignment, finding her youngest son, Big Vanilla, a forever home, and exploring diva behavior. Allegedly. She loved rolling in all the mud of Pineapple Express!

Pixie, our grand dame #heavymetalmare, enjoyed Pineapple Express weather so much! She rolled, stood in the mud, never shivered! She’s gained great weight and is out there grazing the new grass!

This photo still cracks us up. All the horses used to make Nileist run until he was sweated up. Then he'd come in and Hackleton would look him over and Nileist would snarl and show his Chiclet teeth!
