Americans are facing a cliff: Health insurance premiums could increase by 75%, and even double in rural areas.

President Trump showed he would rather shut down the government than work with us to address the health care crisis Republicans have caused.
A contingent of us marched in the Quilcene Parade and had an interactive booth at the Quilcene Fair. It’s fun to be part of a local, small town community effort. A lot of folks responded warmly and our civics spinner game drew a lot of attention.
it was a fun day!

“Good Trouble Lives On” July 17, Indivisible Port Townsend joined the nationwide demonstration honoring civil rights and voting rights activist and Congressman John Lewis who passed on five years before. Despite it being a weekday and uncomfortably hot, about 350 folks turned out!

Sure, they want you to obey them without a fuss. Nonviolent noncompliance!
They want us to think we are powerless. We are not! We are the people!
Yes, I think so, but don’t know details yet.
The Jefferson County Food Bank’s truck will park on the outer corner of the Safeway parking lot during the July 17th, "Make Good Trouble" demonstration on Sims Way at 4pm -5pm.. Everyone, if you can, bring a can of food (non expired shelf stable)! Supplies at the food bank are running low!
Indivisible is training one million Americans to lead a local resistance movement. This is how we dramatically ramp up defiance and non-cooperation tactics society-wide. One Million Rising launches on Wednesday July 16, 5pm PDT and we hope you will join us: www.mobilize.us/nokings/even...

A full house for an Indivisible Port Townsend meeting July 8 with a focus on Immigration issues and discussion circles followed! Good work!
Join a nationwide action on July 17th with a demonstration at 4:00 p.m. along East Sims Way to demand equality in voting rights honoring the legacy of civil rights activist and Congressman John Lewis. The demonstration centers at the small plaza behind the Garden Center.
Demonstrations are our visible objection to the administration’s efforts to implement the horrible 2025 project. Come to a Port Townsend Indivisible meeting and get more deeply involved in the issues and work with an action team. July 8 is our next meeting!
Our June 28 Stand Up for Democracy sign waving brought out about 400 folks and lots of enthusiastic response from motorists.

No Kings Day was one of the largest days of protest in US history. From deep red small towns to our largest cities, millions of people turned out to make it clear that the American people will not bow to fascism. #NoKings
The drone counted over 2000 people at our NO KINGS sign waving and rally in Port Townsend today! It was a terrific event. Thanks to Mark Welch for the great drone photography. This looks both ways along Sims Way before protesters headed into Kah Tai Park for short speeches and chants.
