He’s making absolutely no sense. Open enrollment starts in less than 30 days & healthcare companies have been setting their 2026 rates assuming no tax cuts will skew the risk pool. Restoring the tax cuts for ACA premiums must be done now. This is going to fuck people over as the shutdown continues.
I think we should give the farmers the dignity of letting them live with their choice. These are the public policies they voted for, we should respect their decision & allow them to experience those policies to their fullest.
Besides, just GIVING farmers MONEY- why, that’s just SOCIALISM. Right?
None of our institutions are going to do it. The people need to defend the existing institutions as best we can, but we have to stop the fascists trying to kill the Republic.
