Bald Eagles overwinter where there is open water - and when conditions are freezing and humid, it makes for some amazing scenes. Eagles and hoar frost play nicely together in juxtaposition and polarity. #birds

American Red Squirrels are fiesty, fiery, forest firecrackers that seem to be either chattering or chasing some one or some thing.
But every now and then, you get a glimpse of their softer side. Their calm demeanor never does seem to last for too long. #mammals.
