In case you were wondering, the Halloween costume I wore this year was Felix from Golden Sun, but kind of a different take on the character; a modern day Felix wearing a sweater, sitting and reading in private. Many other extra-long ponytail adorned dark brunettes seemed to choose this costume too.

I think she was forgotten about. Sheba would have had so much potential if Dark Dawn was willing to "go there" in terms of the rules they created.
The original characters age super slow now? Okay, Sheba is 40+ and still has the body of a child? Fucked up...and interesting. So do something with it!

I agree. Briggs, the idiot pirate failson is the only one to even mention Jenna in all of Dark Dawn? As I was saying to someone else: if a 4th game does happen, Camelot should embrace this weird dynamic they created. Explore the darker aspects and really go in a new direction.
And no cliffhangers!

I have doubts they were ever married. Maybe they tried, perhaps a few times. And it could have turned out fine had the entire plot of Golden Sun & The Lost Age not gotten in the way. Once you save the world and settle back down as different people from how you started? Happy endings aren't a given.

No matter how hard you ship, or how much your friends and family are hinting that you two belong together, it's okay if it doesn't work out. Isaac and Jenna had a kid, but a dumpster fire relationship otherwise once they save the world and settled down. It's really okay. Be bold!

Oh, and be decisive: Isaac and Jenna are divorced, right? Or they never got married. Sometimes your young love crush doesn't work out in the end, especially after a multiyear world saving adventure and hostage situation, right? They live apart. Just come out and say it Nintendo.

Make Xian and Altin places you can visit, even if it's only briefly, to both show they still exist and to suggest that all the new towns in Dark Dawn were just spots that Isaac skipped over during the first game, but they were still there.
Maybe even check in on Imil during the eclipse. Why not?

It is precisely why the game is so strange and messy which remains both its big strength and weakness. If Nintendo greenlights a remake, Dark Dawn is the game it should do. Fix the ease, lean into the more grown up aspects a bit more, let the game breathe. Give Himi a real character (please).

Did you see Fumihide Aoki's concept art? Thor in a thong? Tiamat with a bust being squeezed together? Chalis wearing dominatrix gear in the final game? Also, multiple instances of dead bodies in the streets, especially the Kaocho massacre? Still, the ease of play is meant for very young players.

It's not a "good game" but the originals remain solid games. So the talk of remaking those games makes no sense. Remake disappointing games that have solid bones. Dark Dawn is interesting in part because it doesn't quite work. The gameplay has the ease for an 8 year old. Character designs though?

Happy 15th Anniversary to the Japanese release of Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. Here is a short thread about this admittedly disappointing game which still deserves more love.

This is about Amazon, correct? I will not think bad of anyone for shopping from them; another person may have no choice. Speaking for me, the evils of Amazon are too great for me to have anything to do with them. Too much exploitation: injuries and death, promises of jobs but creating only poverty.
