A war of attrition mostly benefits the defender, unless the attacker is much much larger, like Russia.

Russia is very famous for using the 'war of attrition' tactics by just sending wave after wave of people. The reason why it's not working this time is that it's an 1800s tactic on a 2025 field.

Why's that albo? Do they like it you corrupt your position with gambling companies and fire anyone who calls that out?

I was not expecting that. Had me laughing out loud. Jeff is a treasure.

I did some searches too. I see some really heartwarming similarities in your own face.

He lives. *points at you*

I can see a minor correction needed on this list. Riyadh, (Saudia Arabia) should be in #1 spot as it costs an arm and a leg there..

Also, I can see how the Tankie label would fit with you calling them It's/It. That's the kind of dehumanising rhetoric is what Russia uses on it's enemies.

I get that you're passionate about this (rightfully so), but you gotta keep your nose clean while you do it and not resort to tankie tactics.
gradgar.bsky.social
Semantics. You're looking for an opponent that's not there. If you have a beef with their username, focus on that.

Not everyone is up to date with the military usages of "Cease Fire". To the average citizen, it means a "STOP firing" "stop the killing." That's why they think you're bloodthirsty.
gradgar.bsky.social
Then what's up with all the friendly-fire? That's a Russian tactic. Stop acting Russian and you won't be confused as a Tankie.
gradgar.bsky.social
But it does suck.

Sanders is the closest that the US has to someone like me.

It's a worry how far the Overton Window has been shifted towards fascism. It's as if giving bullies a single inch makes them take a mile.

Also, it's still very funny (sad but funny) how many Americans still don't know what communism is.

*reads some articles*

Maybe he shanked himself dozens of times. I mean, they all can't match the "didn't kill himself" stuff.

I hear there is a fascism movement over there. The US is strong. It won't be dismantled by OrangePutin.

I'm a leftist so US politics confuses the hell out of me. The choices seem to be between Center-Right or Ultra-Right.

The Republicans can spout their propaganda. Ukr is proving who they are.
gradgar.bsky.social
This reminds me of Russia/Japan war. The world was basically saying goodbye to Japan. No one thought they would win, except Japan. Japan won.

Same now with Ukr. The only place that Ukr is seen in a bad light is on Russian TV. I'm shocked that Ukraine is winning against Russia's attrition.

China is hard to get info on. I am only getting spots of info on YT sites like China Uncensored, The China Show, China Update.

They got chased out of some African countries for failed BRICS projects, their unemployment is gargantuan, and deep corruption prevents anything from being done right.
gradgar.bsky.social
You deserved better than what "Bob" was offering.

I would bet against Putin being captured. Also, it's not like he's going to offer an election to be overthrown. I suspect he will join the wikipedia article called:

I'm not too worried about this. China and Russia aren't as close as they portray. It's all waves, smiles, and handshakes, but they're dictators. They will only ever accept themselves as Top Dog and it would show weakness to ask for help.

Also, China is going through hell right now. They can't help.
gradgar.bsky.social
I would LOVE to see a ceasefire (I'm also anti-war). The problem is that Putin has already rejected multiple proposals for a ceasefire.

Ukraine could have been more 'war combative' but, from what I see, they're already doing this the best way and with the least deaths: Topple the whole Oligarchy.

(4) Please don't feel like you have to take my word for it. I'm just another account online.

Here are my go-to sources.

youtube.com/@JakeBroe

I also mix in some youtube.com/@joeblogs economy vids for the wider picture instead of just the war.

(3) Russia has ground up MOST of their equipment against the Ukraine forces. Russia is fielding logistical donkeys because they don't have the fuel or the equipment.

A gigantic superpower vs little Ukraine and they couldn't even take 20% of it. Russia occupied 18% in 2023 and 19% in 2025.
gradgar.bsky.social
(2) That is amazing to me, one of the biggest oil countries in the world has to ration their fuel to their citizens... and we're coming up to Winter.

The tide is changing for Putin and cold, hungry people will turn it faster.
gradgar.bsky.social
(1) I can help there. Ukraine knows how to win. They're doing it. They've pushed Russia into a 'war-time' economy, then shot the shit out of all their refineries.

Russia is on the verge of bankruptcy, their allies (BRICS) aren't helping, and people are getting fuel rations at the pump.
gradgar.bsky.social
Like I said, bad faith arguing. @capitalismsux.bsky.social is literally on your side of this argument and you're just looking for an enemy to attack.

I would have assumed that YOU were the tankie in this discussion given how poor your accuracy is. Stay on target bro. Stop shooting allies.
gradgar.bsky.social
@denbelblack.bsky.social, It's clear that you and @capitalismsux.bsky.social are on the same side of this argument. You're reading the posts wrong. Please read the comments again. You're acting like @capitalismsux.bsky.social is a Putin supporter when they are clearly not. It's bad faith arguing.
gradgar.bsky.social
You did bring up something interesting though: The alliance between Russia and China: This, again, I'm not too worried about. The R.I.C. (now BRICS) group has existed since the 1990s and it hasn't helped by a single troop in the Ukraine war. China has sent some gunpowder. Not much of an ally.
