Can someone please tell this crusted clusterfuck that the last thing Scotland needs is a knight of the realm telling us that he understands about the cost of living & the priorities of people who are living life on the breadline.

Supporters attending today’s match are advised to take note of the weather warnings in place across Scotland and make their own assessment when travelling to and from the stadium.

We can’t let history repeat itself.

Thatcher’s policies wiped out our industrial communities - Labour’s windfall tax is doing the same to today’s North Sea workers.

Scrap it, save jobs and let Scotland build a fair transition into renewables.

We promised to bring down NHS waiting lists - and that's exactly what we're doing.

Today's stats show long waits fell for the fourth month in a row, and we're investing a record £531m over three years to make it easier to see your GP.

More to do, but our plan is working. ✅

The Westminster parties are limiting Scotland’s ambitions, with a parochial focus on the broken UK economy.

Only the SNP offers a better future, with the fresh start of independence. #SNP25

Scotland faces a choice: continued decline with Westminster, or hope and ambition with independence.

Let’s build that better Scotland, together.

With politics becoming increasingly toxic, especially towards women, and the rise of the far right leading to women’s rights coming under threat. It is beyond question that we ALL must do more.

We need more women like Christina in our politics. 💛

More than 100 of Donald Trump’s inaccurate statements are to be dissected by Channel 4 to coincide with his state visit, in what it described as “the longest uninterrupted reel of untruths, falsehoods and distortions ever broadcast on television”.

How could they tell?
The fact that Reform were trying to run a person who had been dead for six months as their Croydon Mayoral candidate is proof if it were needed that they are not a serious party.

It demonstrates abject incompetence and no vetting as well as utter contempt for the electorate.

Nigel Farage is in Scotland lecturing us about a migration problem that he helped create. The UK was part of the Dublin convention as an EU member that meant returns. That was abandoned. Reform would rather do deals with the Taliban than our closest neighbours in the rest of Europe.

I’m sick of Westminster politicians blaming migration for their failures.

Immigrants are our NHS staff, our carers, our neighbours. We are a welcoming nation and I’m proud of that.

It’s not migration that pushed down living standards - it’s Brexit, austerity and rising bills.
