It would sort out a few Tories as well. But I suspect that there will be more than a few Labour MP's who have outside interests that pays them for their services as well. Westminster needs to put an end to ANY politician having an outside interest in any company that pays them.

The plans for the provisional government will have echoes for some of the Revolutionary Dail, set up in 1919 by Sinn Fein MPs elected to WM. But we should go one step further, By NOT sending any elected politician to Westminster period.

And not just us, @snp.org @thesnpmedia.bsky.social need to be far more productive in countering the lies of the British media & more forceful on questions relating to budgets & finance. And they also need to re-embrace the wider YES movement & not just @believeinscotland.bsky.social , But all of us.

Personally, I'm not bothered about an extra £10k @johnswinney.bsky.social I would rather that my country was free & Independent first & foremost. We can enjoy the other obvious benefits properly once we untangle ourselves from this unequal & unholy alliance that is the UK. To me that is worth more.

Thames Water are £20 Billion in debt, Just let that sink in for a moment (pardon the pun). £20 BILLION.

Compared to Scottish Water (owned by the Scottish government) which has a smaller debt 0f £4.5 Billion which is underwritten by the SG & a zero interest rate.

A pro-Indy majority (inc the Greens) should invoke democracy at Holyrood to argue that it should be allowed for them to ask the people. That has been denied by unionist parties as they say 2014 was 'Once in a generation'. Yet Ireland can ask every 7 years.

Next time a unionist tells you Scotland can't afford to be independent, just remind them that the amount of Scottish taxation that went to the UK treasury in 2025 was £88.5 billion. the block grant Scotland received from UK treasury in 2025 was £47.7 billion.

That could be one train of thought, But we are all not getting any younger. I want to be European again, I want to travel to Europe un-pinged by the current conditions that are imposed upon us.
I also with to die in a free & Independent country & not by the hands of Westminster & the crown.
