#WIPSnips October 9 battery
Our group are on a seldom used road.
From "Tales of Midbar: Heretical Gods" - www.inkitt.com/stories/497649
Background, a minibus on a rough road wtih steep cliffs on either side.

We stopped again. This time, we were in a deep, narrow, steep-sided valley. By narrow, I mean the walls started rising steeply at the sides of the road. There was a wall about four meters high across the road and stretching to the valley walls.
"The batteries are nearly dead," said Jat, "so I suggest we deploy
the solar panels and recharge while Printorac takes care of this
mess."
We got out and had a look at the wall. I put my glasses on.

Hi. I’d like to report a deranged and delusional man in the White House who’s inciting violence and represents a danger to public safety. Can law enforcement please handle this matter?

I don't think I use this word but high school principal, Medley, does have a creepy basement.
From "Tales of Midbar: Ghost Mage" - www.inkitt.com/stories/632029
Background: A dirty, spooky basement with ghosts.

I went into the basement, using a mage light artifact for light. As normal, there were frightening ghosts (perhaps they were really holograms) and I had to tell myself they were harmless. I moved the empty wine rack out the way to reveal the secret room and went into it. It hadn't changed since I'd last been down here with my father many years before. There was the figure of a man standing in the corner, an open chest in the middle and various objects arranged on the floor. Against one wall, there was a metal cylinder about 2 meters long and 1 meter in diameter that always reminded me of a coffin. A hologram of a beautiful woman appeared. I was a bit shocked at how beautiful I found her although I knew she was my grandmother, Sendria the mage. The hologram showed her in her prime in early pre-Cataclysm clothing with a patched sari that left one breast exposed (although she was wearing a bra) and a big floppy hat. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. She'd born my father when she was 160 and had died of old age when I was a boy.

Watching the Finneas episode of Austin City Limits. The music is great but it is strange to see him on TV without his famous relative: Ferb.

Way to go, Chicago, more of this! Kristi Noem is upset that ICE agents in Chicago are being “denied entry” to restrooms and lunch spots.

IN HONOR OF FRIENDSHIP MONTH:

djt: "We have certain things in common, Jeffrey."

Epstein: "Yes we do, come to think of it."

djt: "A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday- and may every day be another wonderful secret."

And by "wonderful secret", he means raping children.

Strange word for this date!
Young aristocrat, Galton, is trying to rescue the aristocratic boy mage, Printorac.
From "Tales of Midbar: Heretical Gods" - www.inkitt.com/stories/497649
Background: a smartly dressed, young man of South Asian appearance standing in front of a shiny car.

We opened the small door in the main gate and stepped out. There was a large car outside on the other side of the narrow road. From what I'd seen in pre-Cataclysm shows, I'm sure it would have been expensive when it was new. A faharni hipsick in expensive-looking clothing was standing in front of it, looking cross. There was a faharni nibeyah standing beside him and three large faharni male hipsickim, they were all dressed in similar clothing, presumably some sort of uniform. The nibeyah looked at us through a handheld magic detector and looked shocked.
"Printorac," said the expensively dressed man. "This city will soon be invaded by Aramator so the more important people are being evacuated so I've come to get you."
"Galton," said Printorac, "I appreciate the gesture but I'm a mage and with some other magi so I'm sure I'll be safe."
"You don't want to be killed or captured by Nuharas. You haven't got an obvious heir so if that happens, it will be a legal mess, not to mention what it will do to your mother. We can take the hotel girl as well."
"I thought Nuharas were peaceful and it was just a few who cause the trouble," I said, sarcastically.
"What part of mage with other magi did you miss?" asked Printorac.
"OK," said Galton, "this is an order from Otmat. He wants you to live long enough to father an heir."

The point is that supporting Palestine is supporting Islam, which is best defined as the teachings of the Koran (it's more complicated than that but the Koran's the foundation).
