Boundaries was so so good here's a few photos with more to come..Response has been quite something, im genuinely overwhelmed by the positivity. There's obviously a hunger for events like this in Sunderland. The crowd were from far & wide all travelling to experience Sunderland and Boundaries!

Still mildly disturbed by all the teeth (human and indeed fuck-knows-what) in Aja Ireland's background projections 😄

As is tradition we finish the festival within the charming, stunning Sunderland Minster.
A beautiful space perfect for the final moments of Boundaries. Every artist is chosen specifically for each location, so having the right performer for The Minster is vital & this year we had them in abundance!

The City Hall is a brand new addition to the Boundaries locations & if im honest i was a little concerned it was too grand and cold looking...But my concerns were quickly erased when the lights were dimmed, the crowds arrived & the artists turned up & tore the roof off. Its such a fantastic space!

Poprecs is such a vital location not only for Boundaries but Sunderland in general. A community hub that supports all & welcomes all. Poprecs need to be protected & supported. The opening show was truly fun & frantic! Alex Mackay, The Unit Ama, Rhodri Davies and Aja Ireland all brought their A Game

This is what its all about!
Friday Night at Boundaries 2025 was front-to-back the best night of live music I've been to in an age.

Absolutely shattered but my faith in mankind is fully restored after a truly incredible Boundaries Festival. So many people hanging out, having fun while watching some of the best performers around.
Loved seeing the familiar faces back again & just as many experiencing the fest for the first time!

Enjoyed Boundaries Festival so much I'm going to post a few more pictures. Massive respect to @grassi.bsky.social for making the entire thing pretty much himself, home now with some fantastic memories (see yesterday's post for the Saturday morning bit)

Ive been listening to Hyperdawn for a while now and thought they would be great in The Minster on Saturday night.
It was a personal highlight for me, one of many throughout the 2 days. Its genuinely inspiring stuff. So happy to see them reach new fans too. Their style and sound is so unique...

Thanks so much for all your efforts and for putting on such an incredible event. Enjoy a well-earned rest and fingers crossed for 2026!
