Just putting this out there, as a proud Alesis Micron owner, that the Alesis Micron may well have the best emulation of an RMI electric piano of any keyboard or plugin, and it’s the nuts if you’re after that Tony Banks Carpet Crawlers vibe. The “Black Knobby” preset is also absolute moog perfection
Preparing some synths for floggage, to raise much-needed funds for Studio Tundra. Let me know if any interest in these good boys:
🎹 Korg Poly 61 🎹 Alesis Micron 🎹 Yamaha DX27 🎹 Nord Lead 3

Was trying to recall who Morgan McSweeney reminds me of: turns out it’s Matthew, the new recruit from Spillers Dog Food (AKA the drugged-out “18 months” guy), as seen in Brass Eye’s Shaftesbury’s Jam Factory sketch.

Bloke next to me on the train scrolling through a WhatsApp group chat entitled “Quest to a million pints”, being a lengthy series of photographs of various glasses of beer. He stops at several of these to zoom in and like the posts.

The Melania documentary reveals her to be completely devoid of quirk. And that's a really apt observation re: a lot of the MAGA/far right/fash type nowadays - they are profoundly un-quirky & attach their identity strongly to being "normal".

I read an interview with the producer of You've Been Framed and he was asked if he had any advice for people wanting to send clips to the show. And he said, "Yes, film things in f***ing landscape"
Maybe this is my part-Persian heritage coming through, but I have to say I do find it wild that people who have spent the past two years declaring genocide and demanding we ”don’t look away” are for some reason sitting out this particular mass-cull of unarmed citizens. www.lbc.co.uk/article/iran...
