"What is..."?

Any other Jeopardy fans here? We leapt out of our seats when we heard @kenjennings.bsky.social read this one!

(these days, Ardnarusha pumps out 40-50GWh each month over the winter -- only a little over 1% of the island's electricity needs but still going strong!)

Happened to catch this on the BBC1 news, too: renewables in GB in 2025.

Although the TV folk were confusing TW/TWh and (weirdly) the UK with the island of Great Britain, I've a hard time imagining RTÉ doing the same for the island of Ireland's grid *on January 2*!

Record year for wind and solar electricity in Great Britain in 2025
Wind, solar and other renewables hit a new high last year but the government is still some way off its clean power target.

Solar perhaps provides the best example: Meath is currently by *far* the biggest solar-producing county and over the past couple of summers it's started to appear as a top five renewable-producing counties each June and July.
