Today I joined with Run for Their Lives to help lead the march to mark two years in captivity.

🎒📚 This year Broadway Serves had its largest collection to support Volunteers of America's Operation Backpack.

I was proud to be part of the effort, donating nearly 100 backpacks to help NYC students start the year with the supplies they need.

I was proud to bring Miss Israel and her team as my guests to Eastern European Heritage Night at Gracie Mansion.

The evening was a fantastic celebration of culture. For me, it also felt like a homecoming, as I had the chance to see many friends and colleagues from my time in the Assembly.

31 and murdered. I am just 29. I cannot fathom the grief felt by his wife. His two children, the oldest only three, will now grow up without a father.

While I agreed with Kirk on very little, to be gunned down for your beliefs is senseless and vile. Political violence has no place in our democracy.

Legal Aid stands up for New Yorkers who often have nowhere else to turn. Their work is a reminder that our city is strongest when we protect the rights of every person, regardless of background or circumstance.
