Great thread from @gregtompsett.bsky.social. A lot of emotion/shock from Bills Mafia after letting go of McDermott, and rightfully so considering what he’s meant to this franchise and city, but I feel like many fans are coming around to these same conclusions after the dust has settled.
With some time to marinate
- Terry is not a polished public speaker, don’t let that translate to being unintelligent or incapable of making a business decision (no more pressers)
- I genuinely don’t think Beane was involved in the firing & simply reacted to Terry’s decision

College football thought I keep having: what if instead of paying like $5 million (more?) to get Carson Beck, Miami had gotten current Heisman favorite Fernando Mendoza, a Cuban guy from Miami who played for the same high school as Mario Cristobal
