Ontario passed a law starting Jan 2026 that it is illegal for companies to ghost you.
If you have interviewed for a job they are legally required to inform you if they hire someone else or close the position.
The law also requires salary transparency on listings and disclosing use of AI

This is why I have stopped using Gmail except as the email that I give when online shopping. My main email is Proton now.

🚨A BIG WIN FOR EVERY SOCIAL SECURITY RECIPIENT! The Trump Administration via Social Security was planning on enacting a rule to make it very difficult for people 50+ who are eligible for Social Security Disability Benefits to receive them. THEY JUST DROPPED THAT RULE!
