When you listen to so much techno, a soulful and emotive deep house song can completely blindside you with its raw power. I like to go back and forth between house and techno a lot lately.

I think I have enough from just these RYM charts to put together a decent enough list on Backloggd for games with techno in the soundtrack. Techno is my favorite genre ever and even if there are no dub techno things (my favorite subgenre within it) theres still enough out there.

Ambient Techno has too many to name in a post, but well over two dozen including some very mainstream games. Same story with Acid Techno. Industrial Techno gets a little bit less, under 10. Almost nothing for belgian techno, teknival, or shranz. Mercifully only 2 "melodic" techno things by shitmau5

According to RYM's handy dandy chart, there are likely no video game soundtracks with even a little bit of dub techno in them. This is depressing as a huge dub techno fan. If I can ever find it within me I will try to make a small indie project with dub techno..

I love making new friends there a lot. It is a weekly occurrence at the very least I have nice talks with someone new and it makes me happy. Part of me wants to just do another poetry list.. I felt weird about those ones. But I wan a write about what I wanna write about.

I really do feel like I'm doing something right on Backloggd. I was talking to my girlfriend about it last night and she said it's a good outlet for me. Sometimes I feel discouraged from the place but. Even if there is an issue here or there I know people like me there and reading what I say.

I'm trying to learn to just do what I feel and not feel like I have to be tied down to anything or delete anything. That doesn't really matter. Wherever I go, the fun and nice people and enjoyment moves with me fluidly. And there is utility in being able to use a site like this anyways.

I still wish I was more in the habit of sharing art on here but I have cultivated the place enough to not feel disappointed at my feed, which I consider this to be a win! All I got to do is just get more in the habit to share the things I feel like sharing! Art, game screenies, and passing thoughts.

Suffice to say, I think I just need to sweat it all less. When I'm faced with problems, that's when I can worry about solutions. I'm not being censored right now. The art I make isn't generally or necessarily under threat on this site even if I think the site is irresponsible.

I feel disappointed because I keep waffling on if I want to be in a space and have my mind set about how I want to use it and then do something else and realize. Well. I don't need to be severe and decisive in how I use websites anymore. It didn't serve me.

Critique isn't school grading and art is subjective. A 10 is a thing I feel strongly attached to and impacted by. All of my ratings are irrespective of trying to make criticism this objective comparative game. It's all feeling and sentiment.
