A #MOWIP report is completed... now what?

Barrier assessments give concrete guidance for how to improve women's meaningful participation in security forces. Countries often use these recommendations to apply for funding from The Elsie Fund, or enact initiatives that promote cultural awareness. ⬇️

Under supervision of the PI and graduate student, RAs will manually code characteristics of protests from news articles to train an AI model. This position will work remotely, part-time up to 10 hours/week.

To complete this project, Dr. Karim will need some help.

Therefore, we are excited to announce the GSS Lab is hiring up to 21 undergraduate research assistants, who will hand code a media data set on global protests.
