The plug has been pulled. The Mass Blackout is officially ON. From today November 25th, through December 2nd, we starve the system that starves us. No Spending, No Work, No Surrender, Let's take our power back. This year, we’re joining countless organizations and communities in a mass boycott against capitalism and its systems of exploitation, inequality, and corporate control. As we pull our energy from the system, we must redirect it back into our communities. If we’re not shopping with corporations, let’s create, trade, and support community-based businesses or connect with individuals and groups meeting real needs. If we’re calling off work or withholding our labor, let’s use that time to build the infrastructure that sustains a larger strike advancing our dual power and people’s survival programs. Don’t just buy nothing and stay home build something. Get involved. Every act of creation, connection, and care strengthens our collective power and pushes the movement forward. Comrade Jamil Al‑Amin (H. Rap Brown) lived a life the system could never stomach. A revolutionary, a builder of Black power, he poured his soul into the streets, the neighborhoods, and the hearts of the people. In Atlanta’s West End, he opened a grocery store, led a mosque, and organized the community to fight back against drugs, violence, and oppression. He built youth programs, led patrols to defend his neighbors, and forged peace among those the state tried to keep divided. This was real liberation work grassroots, Black led, life saving. And yet, the u.s. colonial government could not bear to see him free. They stole him from his community, threw him behind enemy walls, and forced him to spend his last days under their control. This is the nature of Amerikkka, a nation that fears the liberation of its Black people, that punishes those who dare defend their own. We will never forgive. We will never forget. But Comrade Jamil’s work does not die with him. It flows through our organizing, our mutual aid, our street actions, our fights for justice. It flows through every hand that builds, every voice that speaks, every heart that refuses to submit. As he said, "The only politics in this country that's relevant to black people today is the politics of revolution... none other." We honor him not with words alone, but with relentless action. We carry on his fight. We defend our communities. We build institutions of liberation. The revolution continues because the spirit of Comrade Jamil Al‑Amin, elder and revolutionary, cannot be caged. All Power To The People!
