Loved what I saw from Desmond Cambridge Jr. (#41) in his Santa Cruz Warriors debut.

Instant energy off the bench with the length and tenacity to be a disruptive defensive presence (5stls).

Comfortable with the ball, creating for others (4asts) and himself (13pts in 21mins).

Warriors' Two-Way LJ Cryer's self-creation has really stood out for Santa Cruz so far this season. His quick burst and tight handle allows him to effortlessly create separation off-the-dribble.

Through 11 games, averaging:
24.5ppg
6.8apg
4.3rpg
44% FG
41% 3PT (12.3 3PA)
84% FT

Marques Bolden returns to the Sea Dubs lineup following a one-game absence.

20pts
14rbs
1stl
1blk
6/15 FG
4/9 3PT
3/3 FT

3rd straight game with +20pts and +9rbs
Now shooting 28/68 (41.2%) from 3PT on the season

New Two-Way, Malevy Leons, in his Santa Cruz Warriors debut:

19pts
5asts
4rbs
2stls
1blk
8/12 FG
December 14, 2025 at 5:22 AM
Warriors' Two-Way, LJ Cryer, despite the loss for the Santa Cruz Warriors:

24pts
6asts
2rbs
7/18 FG
6/12 3PT
3/3 FT

6th straight game with 24 or more points
7th straight game with 6 or more assists

Correction to this. Apologies, as I was previously misinformed on the relation of a traded player's trade bonus to the original team's salary.

While the team is on the hook to pay the bonus itself, the value of it is not actually reflected on the team's cap sheet.
Notes on Jonathan Kuminga's Trade Kicker:

🔹Worth 15% of the remaining guaranteed value left on the contract (25/26 prorated salary)
🔸Does not count as outgoing salary for GSW
🔹Does count as incoming salary for JK's new team
🔸Does count against GSW's cap sheet after trade

On new Warrior Malevy Leons: 44-117 (.376) from three across two G-League seasons. 6-9 height, 7-1 wingspan. So maybe a stretch 4.50.

Also, he is a Dunleavy type. #125 in in college BPM 2023, #162 in 2024. A lot of defensive highlights. I'm quite interested in seeing him play.
From what I've seen, Leons is a lanky and cerebral defensive player, who on limited volume has shown the ability to be a floor spacer that does all the small stuff well.

Reminiscent of the Braxton Key signing from last year with Dubs bringing in a Draymond-lite defensive dynamo.

Taevion Kinsey is leading the scoring for the Sea Dubs with 14pts on 6/8 FG.

No word yet on the status of Cryer. Hasn’t come out of the locker room yet.

Chance McMillian getting in some pre-game work with Jacksen Moni and newly signed Issac McBride.

McMillan hasn’t played yet this season rehabbing from summer ankle surgery.

No timeline yet on return; but he’s been ramping up on court work.

SCW HC Lainn Wilson on the success of Pat Spencer and how great of an example it is for his team on the rewards of putting in the work in the G League.

“People are watching. There’s a path forward as long as you do the right things and not just focus on the day in, day out.”
December 7, 2025 at 9:21 PM
Santa Cruz Warriors Head Coach, Lainn Wilson, pregame on LJ Cryer getting rewarded with a two-way for Santa Cruz’s first call up of the season:

“Thrilled for the guy. He’s put in a lot of good work. Makes a lot of the other guys better.”

Santa Cruz Warriors rookie, Jack Clark, with an impressive all around performance last night.

24pts
17rbs
8asts
2stls
9/18 FG
6/13 3PT

The 6'10 wing was a standout in camp and while started the season slow, has impressed with his shotmaking versatility and defensive instincts.
December 4, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Santa Cruz Warriors adds Issac McBride from the player pool to their roster.

As a 5-year college player, McBride averaged 14ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.2apg, on .449/.400/.857 on 690 3PA. SCW has been looking for some more floor-spacing.

Seems like the organization has moved on from Jackson Rowe.
December 3, 2025 at 7:22 PM
LJ Cryer signed a 2-year Two-Way deal with the Warriors yesterday.

2025/26: $482,813* ($83k gtd.)
2026/27: $683,158* ($92k gtd.)

December 3, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Warriors add LJ Cryer to a two-way who has been impressing in Santa Cruz (24.3ppg, 6.1apg, 4.9rpg on .444/.414/.867 in 7 games).

Don’t expect much to change lineup-wise. Cryer will continue to start down in Santa Cruz, but GSW now has him under team control as they continue to develop him.
December 2, 2025 at 12:27 AM
As an above-first apron team, the Warriors cannot receive more than 100% of the salary that they send out in trades.

Additionally, if the Warriors were to trade Kuminga, his trade kicker would stay on their books and they'd have to send out additional salary to accommodate.
December 1, 2025 at 2:47 AM
The Golden State Warriors will sign Seth Curry to a one-year minimum deal tomorrow.

2025/26: $2,777,829
2026/27: UFA (Non-Bird)

Curry will count at $1,755,198 on their capsheet.

The Warriors now have $264,371 space below the second apron hard cap.
