First thing on every undocumented worker’s mind upon arriving in the United States: use a huge stockpile of cash to make a down payment and lock into a 30-year mortgage.
JD Vance: "Why did homes get so unaffordable? Because we had 20 million illegal aliens in this country taking homes that ought by right go to American citizens."

What's unique about the cryptocurrency A7A5 is that it appears to be not only a Kremlin vehicle to circumvent Western war sanctions; it also appears to be a pillar of a larger Kremlin effort to build a parallel financial system independent of the West.

The one positive thing to come out of the last five years of Auburn football is the realization that none of my little superstitions make a single bit of difference. It’s freeing to know I can wear whatever I want and do whatever I want on game day without messing up the mojo.

A pleasant find among the second-hand shop today after working out at the North Philly Y. Found a still-sealed copy of a Deutsche Grammophon pressing of Josef Strauss music performed by the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of Herbert von Karajan.

What a joy it was to play it for the first time.

The AP women’s basketball poll turns 50 today. Its story starts here, at The Inquirer
Mel Greenberg, then an Inquirer sportswriter, founded a poll that launched women's hoops into the national spotlight — and created a platform for the likes of UConn's Geno Auriemma.

Did we mention The Best of @2000ad.bsky.social is $.99 during our #BlackFriday Sale happening *NOW*? That's 195 pages of dystopian anglo excellence from Alan Moore, Alan Davis & Jamie Hewlett, and many more.

(And it pairs surprisingly well with pumpkin pie.)
