That's because they want so badly to be able to do the exact same thing.
These ICE antics make all other law enforcement less safe. Surprised we are not hearing a chirp from them.

The Marvels wasn't terrible. Not the best of the (very large pile of) movies, but Ms Marvel brought a ton of earnest warmth to the picture. The baby Flerkens were great. Stakes felt lower than they actually were, given that the Sun was going to be turned off?

The most charitable thing I can say is "power corrupts".
I suspect the more accurate thing is to assume all politicians have no moral center, are motivated by the pursuit of power, and will adopt any position that furthers that goal (and drop it as soon as it doesn't)

If you wanna up your game if you "fuck with the bricks like that" (Morgan's boss's take) I can't recommend one of these mats highly enough. Mousepad/deskmat material, with to-scale rulers making it very easy to verify you've got the right piece.

This is incredible in so many ways. Almost as good as Trump's "watch this drive" moment after Kirk's death. Just zero respect for these clowns, who are only valued for how useful they are to the regime.
